The night started off with a hero themed costume contest for the kids, emceed by Steve Daniels of ABC 11. Daniels also took time to highlight the story of Sgt. Yeager, a dog and war veteran who lost his handler in battle.

Bond Brothers Beer Company, Fresh Local Ice Cream, and Patio Dogs were out there serving up the goods to everyone, setting the stage for the screening of “Captain Marvel” at sunset.
